| Hmm so I've done quite a bit of stuff this summer, other than the usual playing games, browsing the internet or running in circles. Lets see... I've worked at ASME (American Society of Engineers) part time 2.5 days a week from 9-5:10. I've met some interesting people, and got a taste of what work life is like (in general). I went to California to Stanford for the YLC (Youth Leadership Conference) on Asian liver disease. The people there are REALLY different from us on the east side of the US. The weather is nice year round, people are laid back and HELPFUL! (See my facebook for pictures) Right now I'm in Toronto, Canada, having just visited Niagara Falls, and a few cool places. I took one of those Chinese tour buses, and in my opinion, its a GREAT deal. They get massive group discounts, and we get to speed through so many things in one day, that woulden't be possible without a large group. Maybe I'll do some of that later on. Tomorrow, I have to wake up at 4:30 AM and hop on the bus. (I'll post pictures on my facebook soon (I have some GREAT pictures of the falls))
Well that seems like the general overview of my summer, with some of the more interesting events highlighted. I did a bunch of other things, but it'll take a while to remember them all, as I need to get ready to sleep soon.
How was your summer? |

| With the anniversary of April and Kevin's death tomorrow, I'm sorta thinking about things. One of them is the value of life. Why it's important to us and all of that. Another is... If I were to die in an instant, how would I want to be remembered? I really have no idea. How would you want to be remembered?
Oh, and those looking for the checkut memorial site, it has been moved to http://memorial.checkut.net/
